Hail and wind
Hail and Wind Roof Repair in Doraville
Did that storm do real damage? We get on the roof and find out, then fix what needs fixing.
What Did the Storm Really Do?
Why can you not just look from the driveway? Because most hail damage is invisible from the ground. Hailstones knock granules off the shingle and crack the mat underneath, leaving a soft bruise. From down below the roof looks fine. A couple of summers later, those bruises leak. Wind is sneaky in its own way. It lifts shingle tabs and pops the seal strip that keeps them flat, and a lot of them drop right back into place. They look normal until the next gust rips them off. What about the metal? Dented vents, dinged gutters and bent drip edge tell you how big the hail was and which way it came from. Branches come down sometimes too, less often, and when one does we check the deck under it. So we go up. We walk each slope, mark the hits in a test square, lift tabs to check seals, and photograph everything. Then we come down and show you. Is it a small repair? A whole roof? Worth a claim? Either way the pictures settle it.
