Doraville Roof Repair
Does a leak mean a new roof? Not always. If a repair will do it, that is what we recommend.
Where Is That Leak Coming From?
Does a water stain on the ceiling mean the whole roof is shot? Usually not. A lot of leaks come from one bad part on a roof that is otherwise fine. A cracked collar around a plumbing pipe. A few shingles the wind took. Some flashing that let go at the wall. Repairs, plain and simple. The hard part is the hunt. Water rides along boards and framing before it shows up, so the ceiling spot and the real hole are often far apart. Our crew works it from both sides, attic and shingles, until the entry point shows itself. Then we fix it right: the broken part gets replaced, not just gooped over with caulk, and we match materials as closely as we can. We take pictures of the finished repair so you can see the work. What if the roof is worn out all over? Damage on lots of slopes, brittle shingles, soft decking? Then you hear that too, photos and all, and the call on one more repair versus a new roof is yours.
